FAQ
How can I attend classes at Bodhi Fitness?
Have a look on our class timetable page to see which classes we currently have spaces available in and then click on the link to complete a trial class form. We'll get back in touch with all the information you'll need and a date to book you in!
Can I just drop in to a class?
Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to offer drop in sessions. Our studio space is small, so we need to know who is coming in advance to make sure there is space. We run our classes on a rolling monthly membership basis, with no long term commitments, so you can decide in advance if you don't want to come the following month.
I'm just visiting the area this week, can I attend a class?
We try to accommodate visitors as much as we can, but we do need to pre-book you into a class, we can not except walk-in participants. Complete the contact form here or email [email protected] to see what availability we have during your stay in Betws!
What do I need to bring to class?
We have a fully equip studio, so all the props you need for the sessions are already here. We do have a few spare yoga mats, if you don't have your own, but we do always advise our students to invest in their own mat when they can. It's good to bringing a bottle of water and a cozy layer for relaxation with you!
Where is the studio?
Our studio is found in the same courtyard as the Tourist Information Office, at the back of Cae Llan, in the centre of the village. You can find us on Google Maps here.
What should I do when I arrive?
We ask students to arrive with five minutes to spare before the class, just to allow the class before time to leave but with enough time of you to get set up in your space. Our studio is a shoe free zone, so please leave these on the shoe rack in the waiting area, along with any big coats, just to keep the studio space clear. We are a no phone zone as well, so please pop them onto silent and away in a pocket until the end of class; this is your hour to disconnect!
In the studio we have small 'L' shapes on the floor, this is where the top left corner of your mat goes, just so everyone has enough space.
What happens if I can't attend my regular class?
We keep our memberships really flexible, so if you can't attend a class, for whatever reason, just make sure you cancel it with at least 24 hours notice and you'll retain that class pass for the current month. All changes can be made from the 1st of each month for the whole month, and catch up classes can be taken anytime within the same calendar month, either before or after the date of the one which you'll miss.
All these changes can be self managed on our studio app or by emailing [email protected]
Am I flexible or fit enough to attend a class?
We welcome everyone through the door at Bodhi Fitness, but we also know that sometimes turning up to the first session is the hardest thing. We have classes which require no prior experience, class which are suited to people with pre-existing health conditions, as well as classes for more experienced people. We have a great cross section of ages and mix of genders attending our classes, and we pride ourselves in having a diverse range of classes. Drop us a quick email if you want to discuss any concerns further or we can arrange a time for a phone call to discuss what would be suit you.
